My pronouns are they/them but people keep getting it wrong. How do I correct them without being rude?

At work people try for a week and then slip back. I do not want to be the pronoun police every meeting, but being ignored stings. What actually works?

Pick a low-effort script and use it every single time — mine is a quick "they, remember" with a smile, no speech attached. Consistency beats comfort: people recalibrate when correction is boring instead of dramatic. It is not rude to correct someone who has forgotten; the forgetting is the rude part.

Ask one colleague who already gets it to model it in conversation. People follow correction patterns from peers faster than they follow policy. At my last job that one ally fixed the whole floor within a month.
